April-May Activities Guidelines
Dear Parents,
The months of April and May are always an exciting time at Hillcrest. Our "End of the Year Activities" are privileges that must be earned by the students. Please discuss the guidelines listed below with your child. The students have reviewed this information with teachers prior to bringing it home so they should have a good understanding of what is taking place. If you have any questions please feel free to contact your child's homeroom teacher at 417-532-4681.

Every 3 behavior marks in a week will result in 1 hour of isolation during an activity.
Example Isolation: Sits quietly on the bus on the way to a field trip.

Remind

Homeroom parents, please download the free Remind app and text @riggshmrm to 81010 for reminders about upcoming activities or events.
This is a great way for me to send updates and reminders about activities throughout the year. You will not be able to respond to me through this app, just receive messages. If you need to reach me you can call 532-4681 or email me at [email protected]
Pick Up or Bus Changes:
**Please remember that all bus and pick up changes must go through the office no later than 2:00pm. If you are calling in a change, don’t forget that you must have the code word. If you cannot remember your code word, please visit Linda in our office and they will help you. Also, if you need to pick your child up early you will be required to show your ID. Getting your child home safely is our number one priority, so thank you for your understanding!
CHOICES UNLIMITED:
Choices Unlimited has started. This program is designed to give students the tools they need to make wise choices-specifically related to drugs, alcohol, and violence. Your student will bring home a letter that outlines the program. The true success of this program is only achieved when parents are actively involved. Please take a moment to review this letter. If you need another copy or would like more information, please visit their website at [email protected]
